* One last point. {{para|vauthors}} may be used in any [[WP:CS1]] style template (cite journal, cite book, etc.) and currently is in use in over [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=insource%3Avauthors&title=Special:Search&go=Go&searchToken=d22mddfxtatb05it3c3kefprf 39,000] articles. Hence the use of vauthors has effectively become a standard along side first1, last1 (for comparison, last1 is used in [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&profile=default&fulltext=Search&search=insource%3Alast1&searchToken=dtq18k86jl5gqxe0ffhftxyvo 326,000] articles).
