Welcome to Star Army! Star Army® is a creative community of role-players, writers, and sci-fi fans that have been world-building our own unique setting since 2002. This wiki is our encyclopedia of the universe we've made over the years. It provides a common source of truth and canon for the roleplay plots set in the shared fictional universe. It's also the guidebook for participating in and contributing to the Star Army Roleplay (SARP).
The award-winning Star Army universe continues to grow and there's always a need for inspirational content that fuels stories and adventures. You can use this wiki to plan your RP, for keeping track of events and details, and to share the historical record of what happened. Our wiki currently contains 14158 articles and 18162 media files (mostly images). Imagine how many printed RPG sourcebooks that would fill! Yet Star Army is completely free to join and play.
If you're new to Star Army, see the New Players Guide to get started. We'd love to have more members. Since you've managed to find this obscure corner of the web, you're probably the type of person we're looking for: creative, imaginative, and a lover of cool science fiction and/or role-playing games.

Here's one of Star Army's great characters: Yamashiro Natsumi, played by Gunsight1!
The Star Army wiki exists to support collaborative storytelling in a long-running science fiction setting. It is both a reference library and a creative workspace: a place where players can learn about the setting, build approved lore, create characters, and find inspiration for roleplay. The community values imagination, consistency, and helping each other turn ideas into stories.
A shared setting grows best when its information is easy to find, update, and build upon. The wiki gives players and staff a common reference point so that stories can connect across plots, eras, and factions. It also helps preserve the accumulated creativity of the community, from major wars and famous ships to obscure snacks, uniforms, and local rumors on some forgotten outpost.
In other words, it keeps the setting from vanishing into the void.

In general, everything that happens in the Star Army RP becomes canon, so please add information about any events that occur and characters who appear in the roleplay, so that we can keep the universe internally consistent. Creative contributions are also encouraged; you can expand the edges and fill in the gaps of the setting. Also feel free to fix any typos you find and update outdated pages. Be bold!
