TV Counterpart Team On Launching Studio, Making Shows At A Price And The Future Of Comedy & Late-Night
In their first interview after launching their company under the radar a year ago, Jax Media’s Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns and former MRC TV president Elise Henderson have quietly built a slate that includes two ‘Dexter’ series, comedy ‘Free Bert’ and darkly comedic thriller ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed.’ The team, which includes Jax/Imagine alum Sarah Madigan, talks strategy and how it has been able to actively develop and sell while many other indies are struggling.
