In the early 1970s Jerry Lewis rewrote, starred in and directed a Holocaust tale — about a circus clown imprisoned in a Nazi camp during World War II — that went unfinished and unreleased, a project that he later disavowed. Now, after years of untangling complicated rights issues, K. Jam Media founder Kia Jam has executed a purchase agreement on the original script by Joan O’Brien and Charles Denton. He has the financing; the next step is to secure a filmmaker with the guts to tell a most harrowing story.
