Hey!
I am someone who is passionate about programming, GNU/Linux, and open source. I build cool stuff using Rust.
I am involved in:
- Arch Linux, a lightweight and flexible Linux distribution that tries to Keep It Simple.
- I am a package maintainer for 1.5+ years and I maintain 100+ packages in the official repositories.
- My primary goal is to improve the Rust ecosystem for users. I work closely with upstream sources to patch projects and add new features.
- Spicy Lobster Studio, a gamedev company built with openness, kindness, and curiosity.
- I work on infrastructure, build-related issues, and releases of the open source games that are mostly written in Rust.
I am currently working on:
- Building open source projects
- So many ideas and yet so little time to build!
- I'm doing my best to involve in any creative process, or be the one that creates the process!
- Maintaining my open source projects
- I fix reported bugs, improve security and add new features.
- I create releases periodically and announce them on social platforms.
- Contributing to open source
- If I see something is missing, why I can't be the one that adds it?
- I believe software can be pushed to its limit to be eggscellent.
- Learning/practicing open source in every aspect of my life
- Check out Open Source Explained as a reference.
Through GitHub Sponsors, I would like to achieve:
- a sustainable income for my daily needs (e.g. Turkish tea)
- a budget for my open source related expenses (e.g. server fees for a public instance)
- a burst of motivation for doing more open source!
My dream is to exclusively work on open source one day.
I will get one step closer if you sponsor me!

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
