I began working with open source projects in 1998 on projects like Geoshell, Litestep, and various other Windows alternative shells. In the early 2000s I published free, open source programs like Kapsules and Gmail Notifier Plus which continues to enjoy popular use. As I moved into full time web development, I joined the jQuery and jQuery UI projects as a contributor.

If you use projects like Prettier or PostCSS, you're using some of my work behind the scenes. Some of my projects like postcss-values-parser and postcss-less receive millions of weekly downloads. Others, like koa-webpack or webpack-plugin-serve have active user bases with modest tens of thousands of weekly downloads.
