We are a remarkably scrappy team of three developers – Jack McDade, Jason Varga, and Jesse Leite – dedicated 100% full time to Statamic. We believe a small, focused team can stay nimble where larger teams cannot. We have chosen to stay small and foster a community and the ecosystem around us for support. We all grow and succeed together.

Our mission is to build and support the best possible WordPress alternative CMS for teams of all sizes.

📦 The Product

Statamic 3 is a cutting edge, adaptable platform. It's designer & developer first, without forgetting about content managers. It's flat-file first but can run on a database if you prefer. It's a full-stack CMS unless you want to go headless. It has a static site generator, can handle JAMstack with GraphQL, has a full REST API, and is powered by Laravel.

💸 Our Business Model

We are bootstrapped and completely independent. We believe that bigger is not always better and that VC money is not always best for a product or its customers. We believe the product should be the product, not the user. Statamic Core is free and open source, and Statamic Pro is a paid upgrade that adds a suite of features that help fund our company.

We've made it this far (9+ years) thanks to the community, and with your help will always strive to deliver more value for your dollar than any other product team.

Sponsoring Statamic will go directly into growing the open source side of our ecosystem. This will cover paid GitHub seats for contributors who help wrangle issues, more Starter Kits and Addons, tutorials, screencasts, integrations, and so on.
