We know that one of the keys to our growth relies on a high-performing revenue team. That’s why we’re seeking a Sr. Director, Revenue Enablement to build and accelerate the performance of our Marketing, Sales and Customer Success organizations by up-leveling all roles competencies related to our buyers and customers, offering portfolio, processes, sales methodology and our tech stack.

As part of the operations and enablement leadership team, this individual will be looked upon to execute the strategy and vision for the direction globally for the overall enablement team. We are keen on someone who has a passion for the “customer journey” and takes pride in enabling revenue teams to accelerate the company’s growth. This role will maximize the team’s potential by shaping onboarding, certification, asset management and communication processes across the revenue organization. You will lead a team of Revenue Enablement Hubbers who carry a versatile set of competencies all aligned at increasing the effectiveness of the Revenue Org. This is an opportunity to significantly impact the growth of GitHub and be responsible for executing a key component of our revenue growth strategy.

You will:

  • Increase the software development domain knowledge of commercial sellers, worldwide.
  • Own and manage the Seller Enablement objectives.
  • Build a repeatable and valued training program that sellers self-report as useful and engaging.
  • Expand and evolve an existing onboarding program to try measurable time to competency.
  • Support the design and implementation of a formal seller certification program to grow competencies.
  • Partnering with technology trainers to ensure our sellers are fully trained on existing and new products and services.
  • Design of a plan on use of learning management systems.
  • Manage a global team of enablement specialists.
  • Craft work schedules that allow for direct interaction with AMER, EMEA and APAC geographies.
  • Tailor learning plans to the needs of five unique sales motions and three sales geos.
  • Coach a team of sales enablement professionals to develop a world class enablement program.

You have: 

  • 7+ years of combined experience in sales, training, enablement, and certification programs.
    • 3 years of proven experience in seller enablement program design and implementation at scale
    • 5 years of experience working in a technology-related sector
    • 3 years of relevant experience in an education or education-adjacent field
  • Ability to succeed and embody a growth mindset in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail plus the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and opportunities

 

Advantageous skills:

  1. Familiarity with Microsoft sales approaches, roles, and go-to-market strategies
  2. Vocabulary of SaaS software sales and product lines
  3. Exposure to GitHub technology and vocabulary
  4. Basic use of Markdown and Git technologies
