Describe the bug

The naming of the URLs of REST endpoints that access programming exercise-related data is inconsistent across the different endpoints. Some endpoints start with api/programming-exercise/{exerciseId} (singular, without 's'), some start with api/programming-exercises/{exerciseId} (plural, with 's').

The instructions for User Attributes [1] is missing the bit about configuring a CachingPersonAttributeDaoImpl bean to merge the attribute source(s). The documentation in Confluence [2] about this should be migrated into this (or the appropriate) repo.
