"pair programmer?" please no, it's a glorified Intellisense and shallow contextual prompter, it's not a dialogue partner / purpose holder / alternative provider / source of reflections and insight.

That said, glorified code completion can be a powerful multiplier to individual and ensemble programming efforts.
