Hello! My name is Joe Attardi. I'm an author, blogger, and software engineer from the Boston area. I've been working in software development since 2004 and couldn't be happier with the work I do!
PicMo
I am the creator and sole developer of PicMo. PicMo allows you to easily add a rich emoji picker component to any JavaScript website or app.
The great thing about PicMo is it's just JavaScript, so it can be used with any framework. You can plug PicMo in to a site built with jQuery, React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, etc. - it has no framework dependencies, so it is able to be used without adding much extra overhead.
PicMo is 100% free and open source, available under the MIT License. However, it is not my full time job and I can only work on and maintain this software in my spare time. Your support is appreciated!
Other work
PicMo is my primary project but I also maintain two other libraries that are less widely used:
promise-poller
promise-poller allows you to build polling logic powered by Promises. It performs the polling logic for you, and gives you back a Promise that is resolved once the polling succeeds or rejects if the maximum number of attempts are reached.
json-colorizer
json-colorizer is a simple console library for generating JSON output with syntax highlighting.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
