About data use for your private repository
When you enable data use for your private repository, you'll be able to access the dependency graph, where you can track your repository's dependencies and receive Dependabot alerts when GitHub detects vulnerable dependencies. For more information, see "About alerts for vulnerable dependencies."
Enabling or disabling data use features
If you enable security and analysis features, GitHub performs read-only analysis on your repository. For more information, see "About GitHub's use of your data."

On GitHub.com, navigate to the main page of the repository.

Under your repository name, click Settings.

In the "Security" section of the sidebar, click Security & analysis.

Under "Code security and analysis", to the right of the feature, click Disable or Enable.
