I still don't think we're going to get the M2 at this event. Simply doesn't make sense to me until Apple has finished rolling out all Macs with M1 Pro/M1 Max. But anything is possible…
Peek performance… aka, take a peek at the peak performance of the A15 chip in the new iPhone SE and iPad Air models, along with the M1 Pro/M1 Max chips in at least one new Mac probably.

I love how the Apple community spent the last 24 hours speculating about the March 8 event, myself included. In the end, Apple simply announced the event six days beforehand, just like its last event.
Mark stayed quiet and was right all along ?
With all that is going on in the world right now it has been hard to focus on making videos without constantly thinking of people in situations we haven’t seen in Europe for many years. I hope you are well wherever you are and our videos provide some distraction for a moment.
So many Apple Event possibilities:
- Announced closer to 10am PT today
- Announced tomorrow
- Apple Event pushed back a week or longer due to the state of the world right now
- Apple Event canceled for reason above
- Apple Event has flat edges and is thus fake
I felt a great disturbance in the force as if loads of bloggers with posts announcing a March 8th Apple Event suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
Don’t panic: The “Unleashed? #AppleEvent last October was announced 6 days beforehand.
Also, it’s important to keep in mind what’s going on around the world. This could impact Apple’s plans.
Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers will soon have access to a new, standalone "TrueDepth Camera" service part allowing for same-unit Face ID repairs on the iPhone XS and newer. No need for the entire iPhone to be replaced.

, such as "Hold your card or device to the seller’s iPhone and wait for the success sound" and "The payment timed out for your security. Try again when you are ready to accept a payment."
Apple: "Tap to Pay on iPhone will be available to participating payment platforms and their app developer partners to leverage in their software developer kits (SDKs) in an upcoming iOS software beta."
I wonder if that will be iOS 15.4 beta 2 today.
Apple says iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation) will not be able to update to iPadOS 15.4 beta 2 via IPSW and that this issue will be resolved in a later release.

Yeah I'm expecting that iMac now comes in just one size — 24-inch. iMac Pro will be a 27-inch or larger device with Pro and Max chips inside.
The old 27-inch iMacs were always the real ones that people wanted. It'll just be like that with Pro slapped onto it.
I'm purely guessing but I think we'll get just one Apple silicon replacement for the 27-inch iMac with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Whether it has iMac Pro branding remains to be seen.
