Hi! I’m aBe. I design still and moving images, sounds and interactive experiences.
I create my own tools to produce and explore new worlds.
Inspiration comes from everything that surrounds me. I observe and capture patterns, shapes, textures and behaviours. I think of the rules that led to their existence, and I imitate, remix and alter those rules. “What would happen if …” is my main tool.
Code allows me to see the things I imagine, to view sound, to read movies. It serves as Computer Assisted Synesthesia by allowing me to transform one type of media into a different type.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
