Join the call to play ball! The Orioles are growing the games of baseball and softball in Birdland and want you to be a part of it. Explore resources for coaches and youth players of all skill levels, along with information on where you can play.
Orioles Play Ball presented by Nike
Play Ball Day presented by Nike is an outdoor Orioles-themed field day designed to grow the game and inspire recreational play among underserved communities. Elementary and middle schools from Baltimore City and surrounding Maryland counties will feel the thrill of hitting a ball, running the bases, and catching a pop-up through fun baseball activities. In partnership with SHAPE Maryland and Orioles minor league affiliates, four schools have been identified to host Play Ball Day in the Fall of 2021. All current local COVID-19 protocols will be followed in order to ensure a safe and fun day.

Donate Equipment
The Orioles partner with The Oriole Advocates Charitable Foundation to collect new and gently used baseball and softball equipment to distribute to communities in the greatest need. Since Cardboard to Leather's inception, more than 80 tons of equipment have been donated.
