SME Map
The Science Activation Program engages Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a variety of roles from behind the scenes guidance to public-facing interactions. This list shows subject matter experts in NASA Science topics of planetary science, astrophysics, Earth science, and heliophysics who may be available for public-facing events.
NASA-funded SMEs can submit an application to be shown on this list. By volunteering, you can join our efforts to engage the public directly. When you sign up, your information will be put into a database, so when someone comes to the NASA Science website looking for an expert, they can find you and decide if your expertise is what they need for their engagement activities.
