Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
Defold is a free to use game engine with a developer-friendly license used for development of desktop, mobile, console and web games. Defold is used by a growing number of developers to create commercial hits as well as games for game jams and in schools to teach game development. Defold is known for its ease of use and it is praised for its technical documentation and friendly community of developers.
Defold is developed by the Defold Foundation. The foundation works together with industry partners to provide free and open software and services to game developers across the globe. The foundation believes in an open ecosystem of professional game development tools with excellent integrations to game services and platforms. The foundation believes access to professional game development tools and services should be available to developers around the world, enabling them to create the games of their dreams.
