After updating our backstage dependencies using backstage-cli versions:bump up to release-2021-07-29 I now get the following errors in my dev console:

In general it is better to use

#!/usr/bin/env python

because that allows execution inside a virtualenv, or when python is installed elsewhere, e.g. /usr/loca/bin/python.
