About me
I work on open source in my free time, including:
- Ethereum, non-fungibles, Aion — e.g. ERC-721
- Components for iOS apps — e.g. FDSoundActivatedRecorder
- Open source for government — e.g. Code.mil
- Other civic projects — e.g. Philadelphia passenger rail scheduling
- Projects I use but didn't create — e.g. KDE, html-proofer, Chart.js
Funds use
I will use funds received to attend community events worldwide and learn and teach workshops on these topics. You can see my previous presentations on blockchain at https://phor.net.
It is hard for me to commit to these events now because I have a day job with limited time off. So currently I only attend paid speaking slots. This is the easiest test for me to know if I might have an impact. Any contributions here would show me to open up this thinking.
I'm not sure how this program works. But if you are making a contribution, please leave a note on the types of events I should join.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
