We should make it easier to override the default sorters, since not every builtin currently respects the config flags.

On some platforms you can execute

:set guifont=*

to bring up a font requester dialog and interactively pick your font. Screenshot:

Could GNvim implement that font requester option for set guifont=*?

Sometimes a plugin (or multiple plugins) might fail to update/install.
It would make sense to add a retry option (perhaps mapped to R, since r is already mapped to revert).

Describe the bug
Repeating stage_hunk (<leader>hs) with . does not work after jumping to next hunk (]c) if preview window is visible.
It does work as expected without custom count_chars, did not check other options.
