• Update ensure_directory_exists() to check that the directory is writable by the current process.
• If it's not, return a useful error
• Add tests to cover the case when

Background

Often Tor only nodes become unreachable while still online which causes long channel downtimes and being unable to fulfill Pool bids.

If the IPFS Desktop client can't connect to a previously available node, then the user needs to enter a new URL to the API. The problem is that the format of the URL is not obvious, making it difficult to guess the right text to enter.

In the latest main CI run, on Windows OpenSSL, we hit the following failure:

Tokio's automatic cooperative task yielding feature can cause abruptly prevent a task from making further progress. A very busy connection driver might as a result end up failing to fairly serve transmits or timeouts, resulting in bad behavior (e.g. spurious timeouts or congestion window reduction) under heavy load.

I am only use this addon for replacing ipfs content with local gateway (redirect) and I dont use the import and upload integration.
so the right click menu item only clutters the menu (which I have pruned to my liking)

Hi,

The current version of OCMock used by Cuckoo/OCMock is very old (version 3.4.3), and has issues on Apple Silicon and Xcode 11 (among other things).

It would be great if Cuckoo's version of OCMock could be upgraded to >= 3.8.1 which works on Apple Silicon (release notes: https://ocmock.org/download/).
