skypjack
I'm a senior software engineer. What else?
When I need something, I develop it and publish it for the open source community, then I try to keep it up-to-date so that indie developers and companies can enjoy my work in real world products.
The most known example is EnTT, an open source library written in C++ and used also in Mincraft by Mojang and the ArcGIS Runtime SDKs by Esri. Another valuable example is uvw, probably the most used C++ wrapper for libuv. If you're looking for a battle-tested library to work with runtime reflection in modern C++, there is also meta.
And so on. All of them are available for free from my GitHub account.
As I create libraries and games, I also try to document them and help users with some ideas that can be useful to them, in the form of posts on my blog. Moreover, you can also find some in-depth analysis or code snippets on topics related to the tools I'm working on from time to time.
And when I take a minute for myself, I also share what I learn on StackOverflow, where I'm skypjack, a 40k+ rep C++ gold badge.
However, this doesn't pay the bills and it's difficult to start new open source projects, maintain a high level of quality (the same required to become part of the best-selling game ever), add new features and give support on different tools, not being able to work on them except in the free time.
This is why your support is important and can make the difference.
If you like what I do and are using it in your real world products, please consider to become a sponsor and allow me to work on the things you love.
Thank you.
15 sponsors are funding skypjack’s next goal
It would mean a lot to me! EnTT as well as uvw are used in the industry and by indie developers. I spend most of my time to make this kind of industrial-quality libraries. I'm also often contacted by people or companies for a question or feedback, if not just for a thank you. Having you as a sponsor would be fantastic and the best way to tell me that you appreciate my work!

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
