I can't speak for exactly what you would or wouldn't get out of it, but this from is what I consider to be the gold standard of testing these types of issues and getting signal (if any) out of the results:

Yes because the answer to inaccessibility is *clearly* to only show disabled people a tiny part of the Internet, rather than improving access. This is information deprivation. We do *not* want segregated services.

Hey friends! The Kickstarter campaign ends TOMORROW!! We’re super duper close to hitting our stretch goal of $60k, and I’d love y’all’s help. A RT is truly all I need. (Money and animal gifs are great, too, of course! 😉) Ok, thanks everyone! 💖

I'm at the "configuring webpack with TypeScript for Cypress Component Testing" stage of accessibility testing and it's reminding me of leveling up with Grunt.js back in the day.

I'm writing a new developer workshop now and it will definitely include the keyboard as an essential accessibility testing tool!

Mental healthcare is healthcare. It should be guaranteed as a right along with dental and vision. If you get a bad cut, you go to the doctor to heal it faster and healthier. Same goes here. If I could prescribe it to other members, I would 😉

Not having to throw custom JavaScript at the same UI problems over and over (and probably getting accessibility wrong) = awesome 🔥

I just constantly think about how insightful this line from is: "A major pitfall of approaching web design as a visual medium is conflating visual patterns with functional or interaction patterns." The entire field of data visualization has this issue.

Things that have come up so far: - Teams often have enthusiasm for accessibility, but not the knowledge. - Be sure to test the keyboard. - Check heading levels! I like the Web Developer Toolbar's View Document Outline feature. And remember, it's about accessible user experience!

This week has been magical because I'm working on a client's food-related website to make it more accessible. As a home cook, the subject matter is close to my heart! Like that time in 2013 when I made a whiskey delivery site work with a screen reader. How things should be!

Gotta throw out a special meme in honor of also a special guest of Twitter.

Two the biceps (one labeled "Accessibility" and the other with the label "Infosec") locking arms in a handshake labeled "Companies against being proactive dealing with issues and concerns".

Life dreams and goals are my priority. We’re doing another PCT section this summer and I don’t have to beg for time off to do it since I’m my own boss 💪

Friendly reminder to test all your new features with a keyboard and again with a screen reader before you ship them. 🥰

I love finding a keyboard access issue and writing automated tests that show it failing, so I can code in a fix that works and documents the behavior. Perfect Monday task! *cracks knuckles*
