The problem is obtaining system DNS configuration for use in resolver code. The relevant function is NewExtResolver in framework/dns/dnssec.go.
According to https://stackoverflow.com/a/13417318 comments it can be read from registry (DhcpNameServer or NameServer for each interface). Need to figure out which value should be preferred if there are multiple interfaces (or just use them all?).

When using default settings, users will experience fewer bugs. So when there are issues, resetting to the default can be a quick fix/workaround. And this can lead to better bug reports.

More formatting options
The possibility to add a color and a background color to the text, to set ship sizes in px, to set links and maybe even to choose different fonts are certainly great options that should not be missing in any modern mail program.
currently, providers with the status DC_PROVIDER_STATUS_PREPARATION are shown in the same way as completely BROKEN providers, using a red-color. usually, red indicates an error, which is not quite true in this case.
idea of the status was to show DC_PROVIDER_STATUS_PREPARATION in some yellow warning color, and only BROKEN in red.
i suggest to use the background color #fdf7b2 and the forgro
