State of the Campus | Coping With COVID-19

Chancellor Philip DiStefano, Professor and Renée Crown Wellness Institute Director Sona Dimidjian, and Chief Student Affairs Officer Akirah Bradley discuss the mental health challenges we are all facing during the COVID-19 pandemic, how we are addressing them as a university and how we can care for our personal wellness during these times.

This year, like no other, we are demonstrating our strategic imperatives to lead, innovate and impact in a time of crisis. CU Boulder is innovating, developing and implementing COVID-19 rapid tests, wastewater monitoring and air filtration. Our own epidemiologists helped us create safe learning spaces, which have not seen a positive COVID-19 case from academic classrooms.

Find more information on this and other panels featuring campus leadership in this week's video series.

Keeping Our Community Safe

As Buffs together, we all play an important role in taking care of each other.
Here are a few things we each must do to help keep our community safe:

Daily Buff Pass

Use the Buff Pass to:

  • Fill out the daily health form
  • Obtain your daily pass for being on campus
  • Find assigned monitoring testing days
  • Monitoring test results
  • Occupancy information for campus buildings

Weekly Monitoring Testing

Weekly monitoring tests are expected for all faculty, staff and students who are on campus at least once a week. Check the Buff Pass to find your weekly testing day.

Monitoring testing is used to reduce community spread of COVID-19 by proactively monitoring, identifying and referring possible cases to the public health clinic for diagnostic testing.
