Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.

Running Pictor

Using ARGV:

If you have installed Pictor as a RubyGem and have the
bindirectory on your$PATHyou may simply call$ pictor ... -
The repository also contains a
Procfilesuitable for running Pictor on Heroku's Cedar stack. Set your ENV using$ heroku config:add KEY=VALUEand then$ heroku scale worker=1.
Contributing to Pictor
- Check out the latest master to make sure the feature hasn't been implemented or the bug hasn't been fixed yet
- Check out the issue tracker to make sure someone already hasn't requested it and/or contributed it
- Fork the project
- Start a feature/bugfix branch
- Commit and push until you are happy with your contribution
- Make sure to add tests for it. This is important so I don't break it in a future version unintentionally.
- Please try not to mess with the Rakefile, version, or history. If you want to have your own version, or is otherwise necessary, that is fine, but please isolate to its own commit so I can cherry-pick around it.
