Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
I'm a programmer who specialized in distributed systems, online features for games and SRE also likes to tackle performance problems alongside a variety of challenges.
I do:
- Collaborate with teams on the design and requirements for the offline/online user experiences
- Build and enhance online services and APIs with a cloud-native mindset around reliability patterns, and scale-out strategies and emphasize testability, extensibility, and performance.
- Drive common technology strategy across departments
- Mentor other developers in delivering great online services and user experiences, guidance on career development
- Collborate effectively in geo-distributed and large multidisciplinary teams
