I am also desperately in need of this, this is almost a dealbreaker to not have inline calendar events working in Outlook properly.

@KasparLee I'm already migrating to the mailgun. Should be leaving SendGrid by the end of the month :)

We're having trouble achieving this as well. It appears we need to set the Content-Transfer-Encoding to Base64 when using Content-Type:text/calendar for Outlook to work properly. We're unable to find a way to accomplish this.
