WE ARE CHAYN
Depressed?
Want to get out of an abusive relationship?
Don’t know your legal rights?
Want to find support?
If you’ve thought about any of these questions,
you’re in the right place.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

No matter what someone says to you, you deserve to be happy.
You deserve respect.
You deserve to thrive, not survive.
Coming here is the right first step. Use our resources to spot abuse, collect evidence, stay safe, get well and connect to local services.
CHAYN
We are an award-winning, open-source project run by 400 volunteers from 15 countries. Our resources are openly licensed so charities around the world can use, remix and distribute our work!
Our design principle: Design with, not for.
We’re proud to co-design resources with survivors of abuse from around the world.
p.s. Chayn چین is an Urdu word and it means ‘solace / peace of mind’.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
