. Thanks for the kind words! To be fair, I only started the projects years ago, but has done the real hard job of keeping it alive with a community and maintaining it since 2016. He (and many others!) deserve the credits way more than I do! 👏👏👏

PEG.js is in a pretty sad state. It's a really excellent tool created by , who moved on to other things and handed over the reins to a new maintainer a few years ago. New person never made a release and seemingly abandoned the project without handing over to anyone else

Work in a large codebase? Hate how hard it is to get anything done? See a new tool—a type checker, a framework, a test runner—and think "maybe this will fix it"? It won't. The only fix is to put in the work. Investing the time needed to detangle complex things into simple ones.

It's more clear to me each day that manageable codebases don't happen because of brilliant code design ideas. They happen because of tiny habits applied relentlessly.

If the media would report what is actually important then this would be front page news around the world. There’d be experts on TV that would explain how it was possible. And we all would debate how we can make more progress. Instead I hardly find any reporting of it anywhere?

Facebook is copying Apple's work. "Owning the full stack enables us to design with privacy in mind from the very beginning" is how they will justify their distribution monopoly. It's for your protection!
