    The best platforms would be either or if not both. I’d also recommend a day in May because it’s enough lead time and gives time for platforms to build for the possible influx.

    In terms of a marketplace, one thought. Not sure how many of these boutiques use Afterpay or Klarna but those companies would be a natural fit for hosting social shopping opportunities. They have tens of thousands of followers in the US.

    Shoppers have to be generous with their hearts too, and not demand immediate delivery. Every store has the ability to ship things.

    I think the transaction is less the challenge. With social like Insta and a payment platform like Venmo, that’s taken care of. It’s fulfillment if these shop owners are home and not in their stores and able to send goods.

    We should create a marketplace that allows people to shop locally first. Need to help the regional stores as well, not just those with national distrubtion already.

    We would love to participate! We hope that if people are bored at home, they might find time to get their body measurements done so that they can buy need to measure fashions on our marketplace that supports tailors and dressmakers.

    Not something frivolous. Not to help sell European luxury. The focus needs to be to support the small retailers who can’t push product to the public like the majors can. They need to sell Things. They need to pay their employees.

    Let’s organize a fashion’s night out ONLINE. Let the small, independent retailers generate some cash flow. Make it a patriotic event so people want to buy and help the stores meet their payrolls and pay for merchandise. There are things we CAN and MUST do to help.

    I mean it when I say that everyone needs to pull together, industry by industry, if we’re going to get through this. The entire cash flow of the apparel industry is being disrupted. And it affects every category.
