    The sheriff department's account was directly contradicted by videos from , which showed that she did not intervene in the man’s arrest. She can clearly be heard identifying herself as a reporter and screaming for help.

    Last night I was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer by after videotaping their interactions with protesters in Lynwood. This is what I remember and what I have on video and audio.

    ICYMI - Good News: my colleague is out, after being arrested by deputies last night for allegedly obstructing justice while covering the deputy shooting in Compton. She is one of the most professional journalists I know. Her arrest is disturbing.

    The sheriffs just brought a LOT more fences. Perhaps they’re planning to fence the entirety of Grand Park closed? Meanwhile, sheriffs bring out what appear to be two blue carts. What they’re for, I do not know.
