    Racism, racial bias and discrimination of any kind have no place at Goddard, or anywhere. Our taking a clear stand is important, and if we truly want to improve and to contribute in a meaningful way, the first thing we need to do is to keep listening and learning. (1/2)

    NASA’s MAVEN spacecraft discovered “layers” & “rifts” in the electrically charged part of the upper atmosphere of Mars. The phenomenon causes unpredictable disruptions to radio communications & is very common on Earth, but was an unexpected find on Mars.
