    dependency management is a core skill of writing code. you need an understanding of what you import, why, and what are the potential reprocussions of that trade-off. this is also why build & release work is so critically important to the development cycle.

    Can’t believe I’ve waited this long to start using wireless charging for my phone 🤦‍♂️ Having said that, seems like my iPhone 11 only charges once, after removing it from charger I need to reboot before it will charge again–ring any bells?

    I really hate the Dutch word for “daddy day”. Look, it’s great, spend time with your kids–but you’re not a nanny or otherwise need special praise, you’re their dad! So unless you call the other days “mommy day”, just call it being a parent

    Yes, for various reasons; one such is that, in our case, it would have required a sacrifice on my partner’s side [who owns/runs a yoga studio] which just doesn’t seem fair to ask of her.

    Unsure if I shared this before. Here’s to hoping Apple will have at least some positive takeaways from the current crisis and start allowing remote in the future.

    Not really the same thing as a company that you can buy, but they could have hired everyone indeed. To be fair, I had an offer on the table from 🍏 to work on SPM, but the required relocation was unfortunately too stressful a requirement for my family 😕
