How do I use the values set in the drop down views to sort the tableView of the main controller?
There is no example code that does this and neither is there documentation. Is it supported or is this framework purely front-end?

Bug. Happens on 0.37 too.
What is the current behavior?
On Firefox and Chrome mobile I can't select a value from the autocomplete list. Whatever you choose, the result is always the first option.

I think this is very important especially you have many drop down spinners in one page. Please have this feature as in default Material spinner.
Separator not working, fixed by change '||' into '&&' -> logical error
Dropdown height hardcoded leading to missing height modal on dynamic options number, fixed by deleting height on style -> styling error

Docs suggestion
Just a suggestion based upon a gotcha I encountered. When using SSR you get 'document is not defined' (since document is client side only). I modified your example to remedy this.
