Expected Behavior

When the user edits the properties of a CanvasItem the SelectEffect should disappear until the end of the interaction, with a delay of 2 seconds.

This behaviour is commonly used in other design tools to remove the visual noise of the selection bound when the user needs to edit the visual aspects of an item.

Eg. editing the color of a 1px thick border is pretty hard

Suppose the user is a channel op, "Show icons for user modes" (Preferences > Interface > User list) is unchecked and "Show user mode icon in nick box" (Preferences > Interface > Input box) is checked.

What happens now: the nickname is the nick box has no prefix at all.

What I think should happen: the nickname in the nick box should be prefixed with a "@" (just like it is in the user list). A

I have analyzed video problems and below is the summary. All tested with examples/http_server.py from the pywebview-3 branch.

Windows

  • CEF / MSHTML / EdgeHTML. No problems with either. CEF supports only WebM and Ogg out of the box (MP4 not supported).

Cocoa

  • Only video frame is displayed, video not playing. Youtube works fine. There are a bunch of flags related to media in WKWeb

I would like it if you could give some good advice to people who wish to contribute. There is deep magic in the gobject and GTK libraries that is not clear to me (and probably many golang developers). The team has obviously figured out how to deal with it; but lets say I want to help drive the % up, and possibly add libhandy bindings: what do I need to know?
What are the pitfalls I'm going to s

It's not hard to make a GUI to do this, if we can with plugins. Not sure why themix-project/oomox#146 was closed...
For example, I'd like to see Qogir, but I don't know how to make a plugin. The same goes with the OSX Gtk themes.
Finally, can we add an option to change the titlebar buttons in the headerbar? The close, minimize, and maximize buttons, at least in Materia,

See discussion in Alexays/Waybar#364. The existing font list in the default style and examples doesn't seem to be very useful.

I would recommend only listing a single font, if any, in the default style / examples, and add a comment to the css files that explains how to create a custom font or configure fontconfig to make icons work consistently.

Wouldn't it be better if the title page contained only basename of the file name? Even more because the path to the current document file is just below it.
