A Flask app for multiple live video streaming over a network with object detection, tracking (optional), and counting. Uses YOLO v4 with Tensorflow backend as the object detection model and Deep SORT trained on the MARS dataset for object tracking. Each video stream has an independent thread and uses ImageZMQ for asynchronous sending and processing of frames.
The people counter application demonstrates how to create a smart video IoT solution using Intel® hardware and software tools. The app will detect people in a designated area, providing the number of people in the frame, average duration of people in frame, and total count. This ROS package combines multiple laser scans from RPLIDAR A3M1 lasers into a calibrated point cloud. This package will then track the ankles of moving people in the point cloud and predict their paths with linear regression.
