Bug, enhancement request, or proposal:

Proposal

CodePen and steps to reproduce the issue:

CodePen Demo which demonstrates the issue:

Codepens on https://material.angularjs.org/latest/getting-started and the others generated by the demos

What is the expected behavior?

AngularJS Material CodePens work properly from the docs and can be updated by the team as needed.

What is the current behavior?

AngularJS Material CodePens work properly from the docs and can be updated by the team as needed, but I received an email on 4/30 that the "Team Angular Material" on CodePen had been disbanded by Thomas Burleson (who had been paying for it out of his own pocket). I still see the Team on CodePe, it is still marked with PRO, and I'm still a member of the Team, but it's unknown what date that will cease and what effect that will have other than making the pre-built, non-template CodePens unable to be updated.

What is the use-case or motivation for changing an existing behavior?

Need the team to be able to update the pre-built, non-template CodePens when needed.

Is there anything else we should know? Stack Traces, Screenshots, etc.

Link to team: https://codepen.io/team/AngularMaterial/

I've reached out to Thomas and CodePen for more information.

From CodePen support:

Thanks for writing in!

I apologize for the confusing email. We recently changed how teams work after their subscriptions end, but our email at subscription end hasn't been updated yet. We have an update for that going out soon!

We no longer disband teams when the subscription is canceled. Instead, the team remains intact but loses access to PRO features. This makes it much easier for teams to reactivate after a subscription lapse.

While you are still a member of Team Angular Material, you and your teammates do not have access to PRO features since the subscription has ended. The team owner can reactivate the team subscription anytime to restore PRO features to the team.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there's anything else I can help you with!

I spoke to Thomas today and he transferred ownership of the CodePen team over to me.

I need to investigate a bit more to verify that there won't be any disruption, but it does appear that this should resolve any concerns for the time being.

Today, I went to update the CodePen, that we point to for all new issues, to 1.1.19 and I ran into this:

In the short term, this isn't a big deal as 1.1.18 isn't that old, but within a few months this will need to be addressed.
