This module is currently on Material Icon font version 2.2.0. However, in the documentation, it wrongly says the current version is 3.0.1.

Could we get an upgrade to Material Icon 3.0.1?

@supun19, I did not. It turns out that Material changed it the way it is distributed, focused on web compatibility separating its icons in different folders based on the style.

This module is not compatible with that kind of structure. I will leave this issue open for anyone who wants to help with this.

I want to contribute and try to upgrade icons for latest version, but is it any guide how to do it? :) From first look as I can see react-native-vector-icons/glyphmaps/MaterialCommunityIcons.json has icons name and codepoint. As I understand codepoint is converted from sexagesimal to decimal, is it correct? But when I tried it, it shows wrong icon as a result...
