An enterprise mobility management (EMM) device policy controller application allows IT administrators to separately manage access to corporate apps and data on supported Android 5.0+ devices.
The device policy controller app:
- Communicates with the EMM software to apply profile and device restrictions and settings.
- Implements managed configurations and verifies device compliance with the EMM's policies.
If your company uses Android, the device policy controller is used to provision a user’s work profile on their personal device. The device policy controller is also used to provision fully managed devices. The IT admin sets policies with software provided by your organization's EMM provider. The EMM software communicates with the device policy controller on your device, which, in turn, manages the enterprise settings on your device.
If your organization is using a third party EMM provider, contact your administrator for details on installing the device policy controller and setting up your Android device.
If G Suite is your EMM provider, see Set up an Android device with a G Suite or Cloud Identity account.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
