This looks like it could be very powerful, but the examples given are trivial, which is great for showing how to use it, but begs the question, can it actually be effective in more involved applications?
To easily install pyMCR into non-ascii environment (e.g. Windows 10 in Japanese), it would be nice to replace the non-breaking hyphen (U+2011) in line 168 of README.rst into more common hyphen-minus (U+002D) to avoid UnicodeDecordError.
On Demo.ipynb, I guess several mcrals._c_mrd should be mcrals._c_mrd[-1] .
Anyway, this code is what I look for. Thank you so much to share your code!

Ghost unit tests no longer pass, for unknown reason. The last passed in pull req #3632 on 4 March 2020 and fail on #3636 which does nothing but modify the README.
The last time all 11 unit tests ran and passed was https://circleci.com/gh/opencog/opencog/2422 (later pull reqs did not run all tests!?)
There were only two changes: first change is opencog/opencog@852c6
