As a new iOS user, I'd love to see some "less than apple approved" things going on the iOS platform. Can we get a list going?

Some of our wiki pages are outdated. User manual or developer guide type information should move into the sphinx docs for better visibility and so that it's versioned with the code. I think it makes sense to use the wiki for longer-term planning or planning of big changes, with the target audience being beets contributors. Where possible smaller plans can go to issues on beets with appropriate lab

If internet is down and you launch nuclear it (at least i feel) should open the downloaded music. a way I thought could be used would be too ping a website and if 100% of the pings for a set amount of time result in losses then nuclear could open the downloads page.

Using API to toggle lrc, but the icon status not changed.(Also, the lrc is hidden by API. the first Click, the lrc won't be appeared.)

The spectrogram plugin has a frequenciesDataUrl parameter that seems to be used by loadFrequenciesData(url) to pull frequency data from a JSON file and draw to canvas. Is there any documentation on how to use this parameter or what format it expects the data to be in? Generating spectrograms when loaded can take upwards of 10 seconds for a simple 2 minute mp3 and being able to preprocess and load

Description

The docstring examples use a mix of stateful and object-oriented API, which is not great style. At some point, we should audit these for consistency and adhere to best practices and recommendations from the matplotlib developers.

This will be a huge and tedious undertaking, similar in scope to #783 , so I'm not attaching it to a specific major version yet.

The documentation here https://scribbletune.com/documentation/browser/channel describes that session.createChannel is supposed to return the newly created channel to be used with the methods of startClip() for instance.

However the code here: https://github.com/scribbletune/scribbletune/blob/bf408519fa8677b0f5696ae6554d6b0c8d4d044d/src/session.ts in session.ts shows this method doesn't return
