Name's Liz, a twenties-something university student at a Canadian art school who takes the personification of a Forest Unicorn, also known as Forry. she/her, ace, INFP.
Canadian who has this obsession with tea, books, movies (most animated movies, and a few live actions), cats, snakes, bats, colour, fall, and the quiet.
I should mention that I tend to fangirl without warning
We gotta do this again goyische gay tumblr? Please don’t use the aesthetic of the pink triangle with cutesy gay sayings on it. It’s holocaust imagery and it’s incredibly disrespectful.
Queer Jew here, and adding this because I had to think about this for a second before I fully understood the post: this post isn’t saying “you don’t have a right to reclaim the pink triangle as a symbol of power and pride,” or “don’t use the pink triangle.” It’s saying “don’t you dare disrespect or overlook the WEIGHT that the symbol and its history carries.” It’s not for cutesy shit or fashion statements; it’s for statements of defiance, perseverance, and power in the face of oppression, violence, and loss. Don’t lose sight of that.
