In 2019, we set out to ignite a global compassion surplus that would prove even the most broken, misunderstood and "unrescuable" cats have value.
2019 brought us magical Furry Tail Endings... Cats like Salia, Nelia, Mirok, Pigpen and the Number 2's, who would not have survived without our help. Others like Serenity, Lorelai, Angela, Harriet and so many more who will never have to endure another pregnancy. And dozens of ferals like Emily, Trigger and Ridge who no longer …have pain from dental abscesses, broken teeth and infections, and are living the life they love... on their terms.
2019 was also the year we were forced to face our own limitations. We took in 160 cats and kittens, many of whom had complicated/terminal illnesses on top of being feral. We started opening up about the compassion fatigue, trauma and grief we were experiencing as we tumbled through one devastating loss after another. We did our best with some incredibly difficult cases, but at times it felt like our best was nowhere near good enough.
It was during those times our #TinyVillage surrounded us with love and reminded us why our work is so important. You donated, encouraged, sent supplies, shared our stories and helped us find extra-special adopters. You showed us that our mission to spread compassion is taking root. Over and over again, you shared your own incredible rescue stories, and those stories inspired us to keep fighting.
We are more grateful than words can express to our #TinyVillage of supporters, moderators, volunteers, adopters, advocates, journalists, donors, vet teams, fundraisers, sponsors, rescue partners and friends for making it possible for us to continue to do the important work we do.
Thank mew from the bottom of our hearts for sticking with us through the joy and the tears, and helping make 2019 our most impactful year yet.
P.S. Robin and Watson from our Number 2's litter need a home! Fall in love with them on our rescue livestream at TinyKittens.com/live and then submit your application: TinyKittens.com/adopt

We're officially smitten with Thor. 🥰
Fall in love with him on our rescue livestream at TinyKittens.com/live
He's only been in our care for two days, but he is the sweetest, most remarkable little guy! We will hopefully learn more about why both of his eyes are missing when Dr. F comes on Thursday. …
In the meantime, his two new favorite things are ear rubs and his bottomless bowl of Weruva.
We're treating him for the usual Upper Respiratory Infection stuff, but are thrilled with how safe and comfortable he seems to be feeling already.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
