Open Source

Open source is a term denoting that a product includes permission to use its source code, design documents, or content. It most commonly refers to the open source model, in which open source software or other products are released under an open source license as part of the open source-software movement. Use of the term originated with software, but has expanded beyond the software sector to cover other open content and forms of open collaboration.

Idea

Currently, once a pull request has been approved by the CI, it may still have multiple commits associated with it which we like to have squashed down into a singular commit.

Additionally, if the commit history for a PR becomes too long, @PeterBot will simply raise an error asking the user to reduce the commit history length.

In both situations, it would be awesome if @PeterBot cou

Add integration test cases to the electron tests, covering the common workflows. Electron tests since those also cover the integration tests for the web app as well.

According to several guidelines I think we should adapt a certain naming pattern for our files (first step) and at a later point in time also for its elements (second step), see:

For now the wiki page of OpenXRay is a mess!
I mean all necessary pages on all possible languages are trying to fit into main wiki page.
I haven't even found coding conventions from the first time!

That should be structured by the next design:

  • Main page contains only links to language main wiki page.
  • Language main page contains thematic sections like: Development, Modding, Using, Conti

Description

Down has recently updated to use AST parsing to generate an NSAttributedString from HTML instead of the usual NSAttributedString way of doing it. However, this has broken some tests and functionality in this library. The purpose of this ticket is to update to the latest Down library

User Story

As a Gitcoin user, I want to be able to see the status of my faucet request in my dashboard for better clarity.

Description

Currently there is no option or method of checking the status of my faucet request. There isn't even an option to check whether I've already submitted a request. The option is to submit a request again and only then would I be told that the same wall

Hacktoberfest — brought to you by DigitalOcean in partnership with DEV — is a month-long celebration of open source software. Maintainers are invited to guide would-be contributors towards issues that will help move the project forward, and contributors get the opportunity to give back to both projects they like and others they’ve just discovered. No contribution is too small — bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating.

Can’t make it to this event? Hacktoberfest is virtual and open to participants from around the globe. Sign up to participate today.

You can look for open issues labeled Hacktoberfest for inspiration. And if are an open source repository maintainer, you can create issues or label existing ones with Hacktoberfest on your GitHub projects to help new contributors know what to work on.

You can’t perform that action at this time.
