Thanks for celebrating the Apollo 50th anniversary with us! From stomp rockets to air powered rockets and everything between, we conducted a total of 578 launches in honor of the Saturn V rocket that took NASA astronauts to the Moon in 1969.

This total contributes to Global Rocket Launch's goal of setting a world record!

The MOCC has multiple control centers that can be used all for one launch, or three independent missions – an important asset as the launch tempo increases here at Wallops! It was used during the recent launch of the Northrop Grumman CRS-11 mission to the International Space Station!
