It's a fairly common request to get the size of data for each symbol in VersionStore and currently I just use a Mongo js script to get it, but it would be nice to have a util in VersionStore or otherwise to do the same.

Today, the administration panel UI lacks some documentation.
To ease initial setup, it would be convenient to have a wizard-like UI when setuping new providers.

SiriDB is a highly-scalable, robust and super fast time series database. Build from the ground up SiriDB uses a unique mechanism to operate without a global index and allows server resources to be added on the fly. SiriDB's unique query language includes dynamic grouping of time series for easy analysis over large amounts of time series.

I'm not sure whether this is a gnocchi problem or oslo_middleware.
We are using Gnocchi in an OpenStack setup (openstack-ansible with Pike) with redis as incoming storage. Recently we had the problem, that redis died and gnocchi didn't answer API requests. a request to metric status was answered by a HTTP 500. Our HAProxy in front of the gnocchi API is configured to query /healthcheck. But it d
