Brazil, South America (September 28, 2016) – Members Church of God International (MCGI) expands its broadcast coverage in Brazil. TV Verdade (Truth TV), MCGI’s own free television network for Portuguese-speaking audience, is now on-air in more than 10 cities in the state of Minas Gerais (MG), the second most populous state in Brazil, and the state of Paraná (PR).
TV Verdade airs O Caminho Antigo, the Portuguese version of Ang Dating Daan (ADD), the longest-running religious program in the Philippines, hosted by Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon.
It also airs “Pergunte ao Irmão Eli Soriano A Bíblia Responderá,” the counterpart of ADD’s popular question and answer segment “Itanong Mo Kay Soriano, Biblia ang Sasagot.”
Free television broadcast
In recent years, MCGI acquired airtime in several local Brazilian stations like Canal Rural, RedeTV! and TV Vitoria for O Caminho Antigo. To further intensify gospel propagation, TV Verdade began rolling-out its own relay transmitters for a 24/7 non-stop broadcast. The station is now on-air in the following cities:

Ministry in the west
International televangelist Bro. Eli Soriano is actively preaching the gospel through the use of modern technology. In 2009, TV Verdade was established as a digital satellite TV channel. It humbly started with small garage transformed into a makeshift studio. Today, the station is being carried 24/7 by StarOne C2 and SES-6 satellites in South America and Latin America. The station can also be seen via live streaming through its official website www.ocaminhoantigo.tv, and by downloading the free MCGI Broadcast mobile application available for Android, Apple and Windows-powered mobile and tablet devices.
Recently, Bro. Eli conducted a series of live Bible Expositions in different cities in Brazil, where the audience can personally ask their questions of faith.
The church is also giving away free copies of DVDs and Portuguese Bibles for free, but it does accept any donation or contribution from non-members. [techthetruth]
