Jason Griffith came to AMTC at the age of 17 in 1997: a young actor with a deep voice. At the time, his voice and his look didn’t quite match, so his agent (John Shea at Frontier Booking) submitted him for voice work, and he booked. Jason soon became one of the most well-known and beloved voice-over artists in the world: with characters including Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog and Jet the Hawk. He was also Usopp in the 4Kids dub of One Piece, Cilan, Ash's former traveling companion and first Unova Gym Leader in Pokémon, Keita Ibuki in Kurokami: The Animation, Tom Majors in Chaotic and Miyamoto Usagi in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
