We'll Meet Again-5 "We'll Meet Again" is a 1939 song by Ross Parker and Hughie Charles and would be popularized by the late singer Vera Lynn in her album, We'll Meet Again: The Very Best of Vera Lynn. The song is considered one of the most popular songs during World War II and would later be featured in dozens of films and television series. The song would often be used in villainous contexts, either to give the song a twisted contradictory meaning or to symbolize a nuclear holocaust.
